Looking ahead: 07-08 Winter

Each year around August I start to plan out my upcoming winter. Where I’ll be, what mountains I’ll try my best to ride, any big snowboard trips, booking snowboard trips and following through with snowboard goals.

Here’s my 07-08 Winter schedule:

October 07:

-Ride Loveland and A Basin for early season.

November 07:

-Ride other summit county resorts as they open.
-Ride Steamboat for opening day Nov 21st (Scholarship Day) and spend Thanksgiving in Steamboat

December 07:

-Endure a painful tourist season in Steamboat (it just gets crowded so I stay off the mountain during Christmas week)
-Possibly teach snowboarding on the mountain during the peak periods
-Spend Christmas in Steamboat, spend lots of money on gifts for my dog.

January 08:

-Recover from New Years Eve
-Ride Steamboat
-SIA 2007 in Vegas: January 29th to February 1st, 2008

February 08:

-Dealer Demos to try out the 08-09 gear on snow
-Ride Steamboat
-Possible trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming

March 08:

-Fly into Calgary, stay in Banff and ride Alberta Mountains for a week. March 8th-15th, 2008

April 08:

-Fly to Seattle, ride Stevens Pass, Baker, Alpental.
-Attend Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler, BC
