Shay,

Thanks for the response- went with the B-Street, found a great deal- got it at my local shop for $300. going to try it out this week! Now onto new bindings, not sure to go with the union trilogy or the force sl's. i'm a seven in womens and pretty small build - wondering if its a better idea to stick with the bindings designed for women?

I have these bindings and so far really like them. My only question is...do you know why Union didn't put the highback adjustment levels (not sure what it's called but it's only on the left binding not on the right) on both bindings? Sorry to hear about your crack bindings cristina.

That's good, what bindings did you pick up to replace them?

I'll point out your comments to George at Union. I know Union would want to hear about that happening.

The only good thing about Union: THEY TOOK THEM BACK and gave me a credit to the store I purchased them at. The same store had another pair of Unions returned for a similar reason: riding when it was 5-10F and the binding basically shattered from the cold.

Wow Cristina, I am sorry to hear that! The baseplate cracked on you? I'd contact the shop where you bought them and Union to get them fixed.

The day I rode them it was cold probably 10-20 F outside but I didn't encounter any issues with them.

I picked up a set of these because your review said they rocked, and they did: the first day. My second day riding them, and the base cracked, releasing it's hold on my toe strap. These bindings are not designed for cold climates and I don't recommend Unions for anyone riding in anything colder than -15C (5F).
