Update 5/5/08: Updated the images with catalog photos and descriptions.
So at on-snow I made sure to get some photos of Nitro snowboards. I also was able to ride the Nitro Wiig and the Raiden Eris bindings…both of which I’ll post up a review on.
I rode the 08-09 Nitro Wiig and reviewed it here

Here’s a video of Ryan courtesy of Future Snowboarding that shows off the Nitro Swindle. The Swindle has an interesting scratch and rip base that shows off the wounds from rail riding. When you gouge your base up from rails…it’ll have a new color underneath that matches the color on the topsheet.
Here are photos from the Nitro Catalog

The Nitro press release will be coming soon. I do know this…
The board will be a reverse camber in between the bindings and will feature our Drifter Base which has .25 of an inch dish on the sidewalls and edges so it will be easy to press and impossible to catch your edge.

Shannon. SIA isn’t exactly a public viewing of product. This product shouldn’t be blasted all over the internet as early as you did. We keep this stuff off of our website for a reason. What you’re doing here isn’t helping anything.
July 9th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
Hey James, I completely understand what you are saying. The early pictures from SIA I made sure to ask the companies if it was okay to put up the photos and has always been open to taking down any images. Rome asked for stuff to be taken down and I complied within the hour. A lot of stuff gets leaked, not just by me. This year the whole Burton catalog got leaked before SIA, plus numerous other stuff…that’s early for sure. I try to be on good terms with the companies and have made sure it was okay to post up some information. I would disagree that its not helping anyone…it gets kids stoked on gear in advance, they talk about it on forums and obviously want to know more. In this day and age it’s the internet, getting info out on products can help companies that want more attention. I see both sides of it but definitely in most cases, I get approval before posting these up. In future cases, most definitely.

Thanks mate! aka shyboarder, thanks really much. Maybe I should get one of those boards some day. Oh yes and just to make shore, Is the am board twin tip?

The Austin Smith board, what sizes does it come in and is it a jib board or more all around park? Thanks.
July 10th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
The Eero AM is twin.
The Austin Smith comes in a 155cm with a 25.2 ww. In the line-up chart here it shows it as a park board
