I need something that can let me dig deep on heel and toe carves and it seems the Strut is actually a bit stiffer. Good for all-mountain. I'm also considering Union (Milan or Trilogy) as a second pair because I am replacing an old pair of Salomon Antidotes. I wasn't a fan of the toe cap always slid off at the worst times :( I'm going to go back over your Trilogy review too. I owned the 2006-2007, and 2007-2008 models with no issues. <br/><br/>I did re-ride them and you just have to be aware that it'll catch. The 2nd time I rode them, I was aware and just put my finger in the right spot to let the strap tighten easier. 2008-2009 model, this years. I just had an experience and definitely considered it when writing about it and not picking up the madisons this year. I'll demo them again to see how that strap handles again.
