A-Basin 5/26/08

27 May, 2008

The last day of my 3 day weekend was another shred day at A-Basin. I didn’t take too many shots today, definitely my mellow just ride and take it easy day.

It was the less crowded day of the entire weekend but also the worst in conditions.

I met up with Amy and John who drove down from Steamboat for the day.
Amy borrowed my Never Summer Infinity R to make laps with. She owns a 07-08 Infinity and this was her first time on a reverse camber snowboard. She had a blast on it and I finally got her to see how easy it is to press and butter on a reverse camber.

Super slushy terrain on the lower mountain, upper was better. The weather changed really quickly from cloudy overcast to sunny bluebird.

Definitely the more mellow of the day for riding. I ended up taking off to head back to Steamboat in the afternoon.
