Steamboat Dog Season Passes

June 21st, 2008

Steamboat is open for summer operations which  offers up mountain biking and hiking the mountain.  Dogs are allowed up in the gondola so when I go hiking on the mountain I’ll take my dog, Capita with me.

You have the choice to buy a critter pass from Steamboat.  It is $10 and the money goes to the Humane Society.
Capita got her photo taken today (in a typical tongue out style) and I paid the $10 for her to have her very first season pass to Steamboat.  Her last name is not Black…it wouldn’t fit Capita BlackSnowdogofDeath on it so just Black showed up.

Definitely a great move for a mountain to donate the money to a worthy cause.  They don’t advertise this but it is offered.  Lets hope more mountains offer up similiar programs that give back to their local communities.
