A quickie with Grenade

With the white-out at Mt. Hood and the lifts not running, I had some free time to jet around Portland.  Luckily for me, Matt the resident blogger at Grenade hooked up a tour of the Grenade office this afternoon.
Located on 82nd and Stark, you can’t really miss the Grenade Sign

Matt is the resident blogger at Grenade.  He is one lucky man who gets to write about the Grenade updates and news, including a sweet interview with Tim Windell.

Hard at work in the office today.  It was very busy when I was there.

Kevin Casillo, Grenade’s Team Manager helped lead the tour around the offices and werehouses.  Briefly met Danny Kass who was working hard at Grenade.
Sweetest part about Grenade, the indoor skate set up they have.  It’s about to get overtaken by boxes ready for shipments but currently still skateable.

Inside the Decal Department where the mass creations of Grenade diecuts and stickers are made.

Cutting the stickers up and getting ready to be given out

It’s the busy time right now, getting ready to ship out the European orders and make the customers happy.  Keep checking and Grenade should be hitting your shops with the 08-09 gear.

Thanks to Matt and Kevin for giving the tour and looking forward to the upcoming products soon to hit stores.

I’m back in Seattle now and tomorrow is another day of having fun in the snowboard world without being on snow.  And of course, the weather is clearing up.
