Nitro Snowboards Announces Key Sales Force Changes

West Lebanon, NH: Nitro Snowboards today announced a key restructure within its sales force.

Nitro Snowboards is proud to announce the addition of industry veteran Arvid Swanson as the company’s New England representative. Arvid joins Nitro with over 22 years of industry experience and over 10 years on the road as a Rep. Previously he held positions with Volkl Snowboards and most recently with Rossignol Snowboards where he served as the principal rep for 6 years.

“I could not be more excited to have someone with Arvid’s caliber join our team in New England. Arvid brings a depth of knowledge and a passion that is unmatched in this territory. He has the confidence and support of our retailers and has already made tremendous progress with our dealer base.” Stated Seth Quackenbush Nitro Snowboards National Sales Director

“All I can say is that I am f#@kin stoked! Nitro is an authentic Snowboard Brand and the entire Nitro package is so sick; from the Boards and Boots to Raiden Bindings and L1 Outerwear there is not one core shop that should not be carrying it, and not one rider who should not be on it.” Swanson stated.

Nitro is also pleased to announce the addition of Hunter Gatherer Sales to represent the company in Southern California. Hunter Gatherer Sales is composed of Hunter McGillivray and Jay Sheldon and was formed during the spring of 2008 when the opportunity to represent Nitro presented it’s self. Collectively Hunter Gatherer Sales brings over 15 years of sales experience to Nitro and represents other premium brands such as Celtek and Ally Video.

“Nitro is an authentic snowboard company, as such it is imperative for us to have authentic representatives. Nowhere is this truer than in the image driven market of Southern California. Hunter and Jay bring a passion, professionalism and authentication that only comes from years of actually riding and being a part of the community. They have the drive, connections and skill to make Nitro a formidable player in the territory.” Stated Quackenbush.

“I am amped to be in this position. Nitro is one of the few companies that are making positive moves right now in the snowboard game. When other brands are dropping their team Nitro is investing in putting the best team possible together. My motto is doing good things for good people, when you look at what Nitro is doing you can’t disagree…Shaka.” McGillivray said.

Sheldon went on to say:
“Its super exciting to be working with such a core group of individuals that is so passionate about snowboarding! Nitro has the best team put in place, from our riders and designers to the sales team; it’s awesome to be a part of it!”

In the Mid West Nitro has appointed Ryan “Oldschool” Soroko as the principal representative. Previously Soroko served as the tech rep for Nitro in the territory and brings 22 years of riding and sales experience with him.

“After seeing Ryan’s hard work and dedication to Nitro this past season it was clear to me that he was the right choice and fit for the Mid West territory. Ryan is an individual both shop owners and the kids on the floor are able to connect with. Like Nitro, Ryan is authentic and true to himself and to snowboarding. What you see is what you get, as such I was pleased to offer him the principal representative position and look forward helping Ryan establish Nitro as a premier brand in the Mid West.” Stated Quackenbush.

“My passion is a perfect fit for Nitro. I’ve waited a lifetime for this opportunity and look forward to giving everything I have to see that Nitro has success as well as all of our dealers.” Stated Soroko.

Swanson, Hunter Gatherer Sales and Soroko join recent additions Josh Tillman in the Rockies and Ryan Garvie in the Pacific North.
