Rosa Snow gives female snowboarders slope style

More shops are coming along that cater to women. Here’s a Press Release on a Minnesota based online shop offering up women’s snowboarding products.
With women now making up more than a quarter of all snowboarders, demand is growing for women-specific clothing and accessories. But even with the increase in women-boarders, it remains difficult to find snowboard clothing, outdoor gear or accessories made especially for them.
From a land known for it’s extreme winters, Rosa Snow is a new website which offers women and girls an opportunity to shop from the comfort of their own homes. In fact, Rosa Snow’s motto is “shop online, more time to ride!”
“Female snowboarders still often have to sacrifice fit and style in apparel because of limited options in their area, or because it is intended to be worn by men or boys,” says Rosa Snow founder Missy Killian. “My aim is to put all the great women’s specific gear in one spot so riders can shop from anywhere they may live. Being able to express yourself and feel comfortable makes you confident and a better rider. Then, hopefully, more and more girls will learn and continue to ride.”
Rosa Snow provides a “one stop shop” to give women options in retail, and in turn, more time to hit the slopes and participate in snowboarding and other outdoor activities. They offer women’s snowboarding jackets and pants, streetwear, bags, and snowboarding accessories such as goggles, gloves, and hats, from top brands like Nikita, Sessions, 686, Dakine, Betty Rides and Von Zipper. However Rosa Snow doesn’t stop at fashion.
Rosa Snow also aims to raise awareness to the benefits of leading an active lifestyle, including an appreciation for the environment and women’s health. To this end, Rosa Snow shoppers will find eco-friendly gear, B4BC (Boarding for Breast Cancer) items and a number of snowboarding tips and articles.
