Great review! I just picked up the regular Escapades (non-EST) for my K2 Mix this season. I find your comment about the straps being in the way very accurate. It does get a bit irritating, but overall a small price to pay for all that extra plush comfort and a solid ride!

The small “scissor” logos on the toe caps are stickers just as a FYI – they peel off really easily leaving no residue behind. That was one of the first things I did after I got them – wasn’t about to snip off any part of my new spend!

aww i’m sorry Martin! I actually don’t ride everyday, early season I can only ride weekends with rare exceptions (like demo days) but when Steamboat opens (my home mountain) I’ll be riding a couple days a week when I can.

I’m sorry it’s getting you depressed! I understand if you need to come take a vacation to Colorado…it’s worth it!

dammit it seems that all you do is snowboard… everyday. I dont even have snow on the ground where I am… Can’t see snow from my office either. As much as I like reading your blog I may have to stop because I am getting depressed
