Signal launches outerwear

Looks like Signal will be launching their new outerwear next month in Vegas.  Definitely interesting to see this expansion into outerwear and what their take will be on it.
Signal Finds The Right Fit And Launches Outerwear

The Lodge, CA – Signal has teamed up with Chris Miller to create an impressive outerwear line that is both accessible and stylish. They have kept the line simple by focusing on quality, key price points and features that work. Every style can be merchandised together including beanies and T’s. Signal jackets and pants are fully loaded with features like media pockets, goggle wipes, 9 point adjustable hoods, critical or fully taped seams and waterproof/breathable ratings of 10,000mm / 5,000gm/24hrs.
“I am really proud of this line. The colors and prints look great, every piece is ready to ride and very sellable. In this market it’s important for specialty shops to offer great product that can’t be found at every big box in town. We designed Signal Outerwear to fill that void of high quality, stylish outerwear that is priced right.” Says Chris Miller on the premiere of Signal Outerwear.

Along with Chris, Signal has also brought in International Sales Director Daniel Thorden and National Sales Manager Pete McAfee.

Daniel Thorden- Director of International Sales. Daniel brings with him more than 12 years of international sales and marketing experience and will be in charge of developing all overseas distributor and affiliate relationships for both Signal Snowboards and its newly released outerwear program. With offices in both Europe and the USA Daniel spent the last 8 years developing various successful international programs for Earth Products Inc (Adio Footwear, Planet Earth & Holden Outerwear).

Pete McAfee – National Sales Manager. Pete McAfee’s most recent title was the national sales manager of Earth Products. With an industry resume that dates back to 1986, he started his career at one of the first Pac Suns as an assistant manager. McAfee grew up surfing and skating in L.A. and Orange County while garnering experience in all aspects of the action sports including building snowboards in his garage. He has worked for brands like Earth, DC, Spy, and Clive. Pete is a great fit philosophically for Signal and his experience runs deep.

“It’s exciting times over here at Signal. Our dream it, build it, ride it ethos is expanding. I’m right where I want to be building snowboards, outerwear and working with my good friends. I couldn’t ask for more.” Says Dave Lee.

Signal’s mission is to create high quality products that enhance the snowboarding experience. By establishing, creating, and designing a high end collection of snowboard products Signal is much more than just another snow brand; it’s a lifestyle. The expansion into the cozy world of Signal Outerwear is a natural progression of long-time friendships, years of outerwear experience and our love for snowboarding.
