Atomic Snowboards 2009-2010

When a good product comes along for a good price and lasts, snowboarders will buy it up. The Hatchet was one of those boards years ago and Atomic consistently makes products that are good, maybe not life changing or on the technology edge but consistently good. With the introduction of a splitboard last year, they entered the market to offer a splitboard/binding combo that continues to this year. Atomic steps in the reverse camber game with a Pop Rocker FS and Pop Rocker FR designed to keep the pop intact and their FR is designed for powder riding.

I ran out of time to take photos of Atomic at SIA, so here’s something better.

    Description on the Reverse:

Pop Rocker FS: When the board has no weight on it, the area between the binding is cambered, while under the binding areas are flat.

Pop Rocker FR: Same principles but features a longer rocker area in the nose for increase float in pow.

    No prices known right now.
