We enjoyed a late start to another sunny day in Utah, by the time we got up it was warm and soft snow on the mountain. We’ve been staying at Stephanie’s place which is right near Canyons so a quick walk to the gondola to head up the mountain.

We met up with Ryan who I shared a room with at SIA and a couple of his friend to lap the park with. After a couple runs through the park, met up with Emily an old friend and one of the Industry Profiles to check out the rest of Canyons Resort.
The last runs of the day on some chairs were the best runs. This chair offered up the fresh powder if you were willing to duck a rope into private property (next to a home) and watch out for Patrol. I made my lap away from the others and found the line I wanted.
Last lap was through the park, so I tried to hit the ball and rode up but didn’t stall quite so well. 
Later we made our way to the base where there was live music we could drink tallboys too. Ended the evening at my friend Sean’s house to grill up food and play on the Wii. While I sucked at snowboarding on the Shaun White game, I actually did really good at rails…who knew.
