Coming home to Colorado

We had planned to ride today before leaving Utah at noon, but ended up sleeping in.  So we ended up just going to Park City for a ride on the alpine rollercoaster, it goes right over the resort trails and loops around in the trees.  It was so much fun!  Zac captured it on video so I’ll make sure to link to his video from the whole weekend in Utah when he puts it up.
Utah was great, huge thanks to Stephanie for the place to crash and tickets so we could ride.  I made the trip mostly in part to consider it as a place to move after Steamboat, to get to see what the mountains had to offer and how I liked it in the winter.  I’m in no rush to move so it was good to know it’s a place I would move to.
I stopped at Pier 1 in Utah to bring home a new chair
Along the drive we found a patch of snow that would be fun playing in.  Zac grabbed out the snowboard and set out to make some turns for the camera.

Zac make S turns down the lone stretch of snow along the highway

Just as the sun was going down, captured Zac about to spray snow

This time we decided instead of letting the deer get close to us on the highway, we’d run after them so when we saw herds of deer Drew would get out of the truck and chase after them.  It made the drive a lot more fun and eventually we made it back to Steamboat.

haha yeah it’s a double papasan chair which I have been eyeing up for a long time! It’s going on the deck for some summer fun in Steamboat.

Nah not making it to Tahoe this year, next trip is Whistler and that’s pretty much it except for Colorado riding. Hopefully next year for Tahoe since I have family there!
