Goride, I believe we’ve been talking in the chatbox about those boards. I’d remove the turbo dream since that’s more all mountain freestyle versus the other boards you mentioned that are pow specific. I’ve ridden the gyrator and owned it, ridden the malolo and will own it this year and ridden the sick stick. If you want the surfy feel the sick stick has that, the gyrator has that but more effort in the trees and malolo has that…not sure about the notch since I haven’t ridden it.

Heliski, Pure powder board consider the Fish, Gyrator, Banana Hammock. You have a bunch of options to consider.

how do you think this board will stack up against the gyrator, turbodream, notch 1985, and sick stick for mostly resort pow riding in between trees.

I rode the burton hero all last year and loved the surfy feel and quick and effortless edging in between the trees but want a lil more float.

Any suggestions?

FYI…This, along with the Custom X, is one of Burton’s best stick..

The ’10 Malolo looks sick… I’m pretty sure I’m gonna pick one up next season for pow days… The new S-rocker will make it even better! Loving the plain white topsheet and minimal but colourful base.

Thanks for the review. I wonder if you know how the Malolo 158cm compared to the Never Summer Summit 161cm. I usually ride a 08 uninc for all mountain. I'm thinking of getting the next year 158cm Malolo if it provide better response than the Summit.

Paul, I got a lot of requests for people wondering how the malolo would ride on groomers. Obviously it’s a board meant for powder but a lot of people want a board that can ride powder and not have to be switched out when the runs get tracked out. Anyway, I was glad to take out the board and just ride it on groomers to answer the questions about it.
