demo is just that. its been used at demos on snow or maybe just hauled from one spot to the next for show. so in a nutshell slightly used goods. discount on barely used gear?? sweet. thumbs up and enjoy your treasure.

charging can handle going fast and still be stable and under control. Usually freestyle boards are not as charging like a freeride board. I’ve ridden the midnight and while it can handle freestyle riding like pipe/jumps it is a freeride specific board. For size you could do either.

Ok, that makes sense. What exactly do you mean by “charging board”? And if you look at the little description you posted above with the midnight’s story and creation theory, at the very top it say’s “women’s freeride” but then under creation theory, it says “progressive freestyle rider”. Why is that? And I ride on the East Coast. (CT, VT).

great question it’s best to go off of the description from the company and in which case, Capita describes the Midnight as women’s freeride and I agree 100% with that. It’s directional, camber, stiffer flex and a charging board. For size you could go either way, where do you ride and what type of conditions?

Hi. I LOVE the graphics on this board. How come a lot of websites say that this board is made for a freestyle rider, this one for example: http://www.eternalsnow.com/2010-capita-midnight-womens-snowboard.html And then other websites say that it is a freeride board? I ride freeride, so I really want to know which it is! Also, how stiff is the board? I am an intermediate rider, I can only do easy black diamonds, but I’m 16 yrs. old, so I want it to last me a few years. Would it be better for me to get the 150 or the 154 if I am 5′ 6″ and weigh around 130? Thanks
