Solid Snowboards 2009-2010

Solid Snowboards has history, from their creation in the 1990’s leading the fast paced expansion and growth which caused the end of the company soon after. Fortunately for the plenty of  fans of Solid, in 2007 the company was brought back to life. With rider dedication to the brand, it’s being built up again as a rider owned company, with Willie, Chris and Kurt backing the boards its not about making millions, but backing a brand they believe in.

At SIA in Vegas, Solid was there to launch their 2009-2010 snowboard line and bring back a company that was missed.

Solid’s ties with Bluebird Wax are very clear in the 09-10 line with the bluebird collaboration snowboard.

It’s only the beginning for Solid, this time it will be a slow progression and lets hope they can find a place that they once occupied in people’s hearts.

Solid Cool, do they have anything to do with the ‘old’ Solid from South Park back in the day ? Any of the same people? They were a Summit county favorite B4 NS and way B4 Unity. But made seriously bad bizz decisions.

Where are they being made today ???
