Have you ever been curious about working in the snowboard industry, how to get in or what experience/background you need? Last summer the Industry Profile series was born and from June to September thirty people in the industry were interviewed for their various roles and experiences on how they got into the industry.
For summer 2009, this series continues on and starting in June every Tuesday and Thursday you will find a new interview on shayboarder.com.

There are people in every type of job, from every type of background who help contribute to the snowboard industry. This summer you’ll hear from interviews with coaches to athletes, large magazine editors to smaller magazine editors, pro riders from CA to UT, action sports bloggers, product designers from various companies, owners of companies, shop managers to shop owners to shop kids, action sports events coordinators to lawyers, web designers to writers.
I found that I always wondered what mattered more in the snowboard industry…education vs experience. You’ll hear from industry people what their thoughts are.

I’ve told many people that i’m not really stalker material anyway.
