Absinthe Films Sphere of Influence tour hits Colorado

The Absinthe Films Sphere of Influence tour has been making it’s way around the globe to give snowboarders the opportunity to see their newest film Neverland on the big screen.  Now it’s time for Colorado to get the pleasure of seeing Neverland up close and personal.  This weekend are the big premieres in Fort Collins on Thursday night, Beaver Creek on Friday night and ending with Denver on Saturday night with rider appearances at each premiere and giveaways!

I’ll be making my way down to Beaver Creek on Friday to enjoy a pre-premiere BBQ (life as a snowboard blogger has it’s perks and this is one of them, watch for twitter updates on Friday), then to the Beaver Creek premiere with friends to watch the film and end the night with the Afterparty at Loaded Joe’s in Avon.  That’s only Friday!  Then Saturday I’ll be in Denver to hit up the Absinthe premiere for a second time with friends.

Two days of premieres and all the fun involved.  I certainly hope to see you guys there, I’ll have shayboarder stickers on hand so come say hi if you see me at the premieres.

    Hi Shay,

I thought Cale Zima was hilarious and I almost peed in my pants when I saw the jump over the building (can’t remember who that was)! And, of course, Travis Rice was amazing as well as the rest of the riders (I am not great with names), I especially liked that shot where both the rider and the cameraman jumped the kicker…
But overall I was a bit disappointed by the editing. I feel they could have balanced the music and the footage better… It didn’t really give me the goose bumps if you see what I mean 🙂
I’m looking forward to Elektro right now…

Dan Brisse jumped the building gap and Bode Merril I think had the follow cam off yhejump.

Sick! Yeah I think Bode killed it and Cale’s part was a favorite for sure, just for humor. I’ll be picking up a copy this week to support the film.

I definitely noticed the follow cam off the kickers when they did it (i think twice with two riders, bode was one and there was another one) I see that more in the ski flicks and never in the snowboard flicks for some reason.

Definitely some of the music I liked and some others I was eh one, but that happens with every film.
