The difference between the 09-10 and 08-09 is one is Banana Traction (BTX) and the other is Magne Traction (MTX). The BTX gives it a more ride everywhere style because the BTX is rocker, so easier to play with in the park, easier in powder. The MTX version will be faster, more stable and less playful. Also less forgiving, the BTX lifts up the contact points so it's less catchy when riding. Hope that helps! BTX, Last I checked it has not gone live unfortunately.
