just bought the 10/11 ns heritage. the board looks sick. carbonium topsheet. just a beautiful and i can’t wait for boarding season.

one problem. a few hours later it dawns on me that i’m going to have to lock it up. some d-bag will steal it and you just confirmed it. no doubt.

I think we should start a stolen board deal where we can all put pics up. Have it set up by areas like Summit Cty and so forth. I had a brand new Burton Joystick 163W with Cartel Bindings jacked at ABasin Dec. 19th. We need to find a way to help stop this shit, we pay alot of $$$ for our gear and it just gets jacked by some heartless thug. I have a Never Summer Legacy now and I have to lock that bitch up wherever I go. It shouldn’t be this way people. Riding is about freedom not locking stuff up because of fear of theft!!!

I read about your board being stolen and I’m really sorry. You should seriously register your gear for free (even the stuff already stolen) on karmaarmy.com. They help register, monitor and even relocate boards, bikes, etc. through a cool social network of other boarders and outdoor nuts. They also work with law enforcement and are developing some really cool technologies that will actually be able to tract your gear like lojack! Hope all is well and best of luck with your gear!

Dude, that’s the worst. Let alone one of you favorites. Sorry. I had a friend get stuff stolen last year, a really nice pair of twin tip skis AND his brand new snowboard in one shot. It was his first season back after some nasty knee injuries and surgery which made it even worse.

I have a lock and my bf just picked up an Omatic, so I bought him a lock for it too. I hate to have that happen, I’ve actually helped track down a few thieves at our hill and gotten stuff back. It’s easier at a small place, and more of a problem for that person when they have like 20 people ready to beat the crap outta them.
