Party time at SIA in Denver

In just a matter of days, snowboarders from around the world will be flocking to Denver Colorado for the SIA Tradeshow.  Amidst seeing plenty of 10-11 gear, they’ll also be able to enjoy some of the most fun parties going on each evening.  The best part about this year is even though the tradeshow is closed to the public, the parties are not which means if you live in Colorado and want to see first hand what the Riders Poll Awards are like, check out Trouble Andrew live or go to a fun hockey game that benefits SOS Outreach with plenty of PBR…this is your time!

I can’t be in two places at once so here’s a look at a couple events I’ll be attending this week in the mile high city.

Wednesday January 27th:  SIA Shootout Hockey Game

This is a hockey game and a benefit for SOS Outreach which has industry players taking to the ice.  They’ll be with plenty of PBR on hand and your $2 donation for each beer goes to benefit SOS Outreach.  Transportation is provided from the convention center between 6 and 10pm.

I’m looking forward to drinking some Pabst and cheering on the guys for such a good event to benefit SOS.

Sponsored by Never Summer, SOS, 686, Neff, Skullcandy, PBR and Red Bull.

Thursday January 28th:  Trouble Andrew

It’s finally my chance to see Trouble Andrew live and YES Snowboards, North Face and Spy among other sponsors are bringing it on in the Mile High City at City Hall.  It’s a guaranteed good time and I can’t wait to party the night away.

Tickets are $10.00 or $12.00 at the door and a portion of the door proceeds go to help support POW.

Sponsored by YES Snowboards, Opulent Vodka, POW, Spy, North Face, Rondiaz, Magness Estates, Cara Mia.

Friday January 29th:  Transworld Riders Poll

It’s the 11th Annual Transworld Riders Poll where the awards for rookie of the year, standout of the year, men and women video part of the year, men’s and women’s rider of the year and men’s and women’s readers choice will be given out.  This year they’ll be a Legends Award honoring the true legends of snowboarding and backcountry pioneer Tom Burt will be taking home the award.  Watch the awards and enjoy the party that it is known for.

This year anyone can attend the Riders Poll awards, tickets are at livenation.com and it’ll be held at the Fillmore Auditorium

Still unsure on Saturday night but I’ve been thinking that a snowboard evening at Echo Mountain would be a blast!  We’ll see what goes down.

Thanks for mentioning the Trouble Andrew event, we are looking forward to having you there. I would not be doing my job if I didn’t mention that Friday night at City Hall will feature DJ MFM and DJ Crime, sponsored by Technine Snowboards, Sound Outerwear, SkullCandy and DVS Shoes. I hope to see you there as well.
