This year I’ve been really excited about park because I’m finally hitting features and trying to progress my park riding.  I feel comfortable on every feature in the small park, a couple features in the medium park and any day that it’s bluebird outside I’m generally taking a ride break to the park especially when I’m riding alone.

The motive for being outside today was to get some park shots for Steamboat since I’m working on building a new park webpage.  Nick who is our new park manager and I are planning to get some shots of features.  I headed to Bashor to meet up with him and ended up watching the new jump line on the mountain for a couple minutes.

Eventually I made my way back to the medium park (Rabbit Ears) to make laps through there and hit the small park (Lil Rodeo) on the way down to Christie chairlift.  I turned on the tunes and ended up making park laps to myself today which was perfectly fine by me.

The best part of today was taking out my new Signal OG with my custom handpainted graphics that Signal gave to me.  I was worried at first about the size (it’s a 148cm), now the smallest board in my collection but I found out today that for my park lapping board it was perfect and easy!

It’s a good week, tomorrow I’ll spend the morning in the park to get work done for the park page and since I’m ahead on hours this week I get to have a really short work day tomorrow…which means riding the mountain and if weather cooperates heading down to Beaver Creek for the B4BC Fundraiser.
