Congrats Gorio!!

07 Feb, 2010

If you ride in the northwest, there’s only one race that matters in snowboarding…it’s not the olympics, it’s not the grand prix or the dew tour…it’s a little race called the Legendary Banked Slalom out of Mt Baker in Washington.  It defines freeriders and it’s a true race of snowboarders of all ages.

I’ve been watching the results come in from the Friday, Saturday qualifiers and now on Sunday, the final results are in for each division.  While I love hearing what pros won, It’s even better to hear that my good friend Gorio Bustamante from evogear took home the mid masters win!

So congrats Gorio, drive home safe and we’ll celebrate when I come to town!

Congrats to all the winners of the 2010 LBS!  Yobeat has the coverage of the LBS including gallery photos and full winners…so check it out here.
