Rome Outerwear 2010-2011

February 17th, 2010

Rome has entered their third season for designing and bringing outerwear to their snowboarders, each year it gets better and this year I think they found their niche in outerwear.  From the men to the women’s line, there’s functionality, technical features and colors from basic to flashy depending on the rider’s style.

For 10-11 they loaded the outerwear up with pockets and features, from the fun season pass stickers to the much needed anti-drag cuff lifter.  Most of the outerwear feature more pockets than you’ll know what to put in them and when you open up the jackets, you’ll be amazed at the quality, thought and design behind them.

L-R:  Men’s Stance Jacket (color:  blu wave) with insurrection pant (color:  collective), Men’s oil & water color jacket in the background, Women’s Newport Jacket (color:  Swirl) with newport pant (color:  black)

It’s cool to see this. Thanks Shay.
So the quality’s been improving as expected? I still dig my pants but haven’t found a jacket from Rome I was incredibly stoked on.

I’m rocking Rome outerware this year and love it. The gear has held up great and the pants are some of the best “normal” fitting I’ve ever had. The only gripe I have is my jacket didn’t come with wrist gaiters which come in handy on pow days, it was supposed to but I got an early production one on pro form.
