Steamboat 3/10/10

There are two types of weather days in Steamboat:  Dumping powder or bluebird skies.  We rarely get overcast and we even more rarely get rain.  For some reason today on the slopes was overcast but not snowing on the lower mountain and the snow conditions were dust on crust so not the most fun.

I headed out with my co-worker Rochelle to get in some park laps with her during our ride break and we had decent visibility so we just lapped mini park most of the lunch break.

Rochelle was trying out the Sierra V-spot snowboard and stoked on the softer playful flex for the park.

She’s still getting comfortable with the boxes and I worked on trying to get noseslides and boardslides down…sometimes good and sometimes bad

That was it for our ride break, just lapped park and talked on the chairlift.  Definitely good to get out and clear your head during the day.
