Burton has so many ridiculous acronyms and commercial sounding trademarks for every basic feature of a snowboard that it just runs counter to everything about Vermont, honesty, nature, and the roots of snowboarding that you wonder who is running that company. For so many talented people to let the “market lead you” instead of leading the market is just ridiculous. It’s just like a bar owner who listens to every customers opinion on what format of music will make his club busy. Have a vision of your own, believe in it and stick to it and you will have a “love mark” like Apple instead of commodity brand like Burton. Clearly if they can’t afford to keep their team riders they cant afford to hire the caliber of executive talent necessary to fulfill the vision or potential Burton once had. This company would make a good case study for the Harvard Business Journal. Raise some money Jake and get yourself a Steve Jobs while your brand still has opportunity.

    Hi Shay,
Hope a Good and Happy New Year for you 😉
Also when you have time, to get your hand on, and try yearly release 2012 of Burton. Squeezebox tech like: Nug 150 (I did try the 146 was good but a bit small for me)
Or even better the Custom Flying V Squeezebox 158 (will like to try this one, looks solid)
Squeezebox of Burton seems to be a good direction for Burton in the future, I hope after they get a bigger version of the Frostbite for better Ice holding but, I think they are getting their too…
    Thanks
