Timberline & Windells Camp 6/9/10

It may be June in Oregon with summer just around the corner but today winter paid a visit with cold temps and weather on Timberline.  The mountain opened up the lower chairlifts and created a mini park for camp so we could hit up the mountain today despite the weather.

A bit cloudy walking up to Timberline

The lower mountain park set up for Windells today included 2 lines of rails and jumps

Staying dry was the most important thing on the mountain today, cold temps and some rain made the slopes slow and wet

The rainy northwest weather did make for a perfect evening at Windells to win some free swag from Sessions.  Nick Visconti and Tim Humphreys did the Mud’n’blood contest where campers raced through the natural mud course  and basically got really really muddy to win a free outerwear set from Sessions.

The soon to be winner of the outerwear ran fast and got muddy in order to win the Sessions outerwear

Woops someone lost a shoe!  In fact there were a couple shoes left in the mud by the end of the race

Complete mudness!

Just another day at Windells Camp, tons of fun going on after the on-hill shredding and hoping the weather clears up for a great day on the slopes tomorrow!
