Timberline & Windells Camp 6/21/10

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the beautiful bluebird days that summer riding at Timberline is known for and despite some cold winter/rainy weather we finally got a great sunny day on the slopes today.

The camp features have been progressing nicely, we have the dream feature this session but also a bunch of fun features down to the main park area where the two rope tows are.

I’ve progressed from the mini features to trying out some of the boxes in the main line but still working on my ollie’ing onto features.

I followed along with Droid and Ricky’s campers today where I found Megan a 17 year old snowboarder who was Camper of the Day on the Windells Blog.  She’d been progressing her riding at camp and I watched her go from the small jump to hitting the 1st jump in the main line.

Today we shot the group photo for camp and Ricky got the shot with his handplants.

Tonight is the zombie night on campus and staff sale, so I’ll be updating the blog with photos when I come back.
