Mammoth Bound!

Since summer ended at Windells Camp I’ve been enjoying the Seattle & NW snowboard scene before figuring out my next move.  For the past month it meant considering all options, all locations and getting better at job interviews.  It’s been great to be considered by some great companies in the snowboard industry and also figure out what worked for me.  The end result was accepting a job with Mammoth Mountain’s marketing department and being able to call Mammoth Lakes, California my new home.

It was sad to leave the northwest but excited for the opportunity to join such a rad mountain and live in a new location.  Definitely hoping to meet some rad snowboarders here and if you ride Mammoth, let me know so we can meet up this winter!

Thanks everyone for the great comments!

Really excited to write about snowboarding in CA and Mammoth especially. I took a leap of faith in moving here without ever having been here but the good reputation and word from friends told me it was a great place. Now after being here a couple days, it’s beautiful and can’t wait for winter to begin!

Ben, excited! Definitely hit me up when it’s closer to december and would love to shred with you guys!

Mike, I’ll definitely make a trip back to CO for SIA but looking forward to spend a winter settled in one place without traveling.

    Hey Shay,

If I don’t move up to the Northwest I’ll see you in Mammoth this winter and would love to ride with you. Between the 2 of us there might not be anyone else in the US with that much gear 😉
