The Feeders Downtown Throwdown Qualifiers #2

In just a matter of weeks, Snowboy Productions will deliver the 5th annual Downtown Throwdown contest on the streets of Seattle with some big name pros competing. In order to give local riders a chance to compete in the Downtown Throwdown they’ve set up the Feeders with three qualifying events around Washington State.  The second qualifying event went down yesterday afternoon in the Supermall parking lot with some sun, some rain and most definitely some snow!

From 1-4pm yesterday, Snowboy brought in the snow and set up the rail jam to help decide which rider from this qualifer would make it to the big leagues next month.  There were three rounds of riders before the finals went on with 10 riders competing for first place.

Snowboy Productions puts on the best NW events and gets it done.

All the sponsors came out for the event which mean getting free goodies from Lib Tech, Zumiez, Jones Soda, Vans, Snowboarder Magazine, Skullcandy and Think Thank.  I watched crowds of kids going for freebies most of the afternoon.

The next qualifer goes down on September 25th at Clackamas Town Center where another rider will earn 1st place and a chance to compete in the October 9th Downtown Throwdown!  It was great to head out to the event yesterday and help support some of the local riders in the NW.
