Since moving to Mammoth, I haven’t had too many Colorado people come out and visit. But I finally got one visitor who booked his ticket and made plans to leave Crested Butte to check out what Mammoth had to offer. I’d been looking forward to his visit for weeks and he finally arrived in town last night. I call him the skier. We have history and both love the mountain.
The Skier at Mammoth

It ended up being the perfect day, rode together all day and showed him Mammoth’s parks. We arrived early on the mountain with barely anyone in Main Park or South Park which meant he got to see perfection at its best on the mountain.

Most of the day was spent lapping South Park with a much needed break for some beverages and then heading to Main Park. The setup right now is mock X-games so you can get your practice on or just try your hand at the same course the pros are on.

It was a good day, some rough hits at the end of the day. For me just showing this person how Mammoth is and keeping my fingers crossed that he liked it. He loved it and definitely being able to spend time with him was exactly what I needed.
