Mammoth 1/18/11

It’s hard to resist the sunny clear sky weather Mammoth has been having especially when the snow is outside your door.  I headed out today to meet up with Nate Musson who runs Shredsoles and works at Pitcrew back east.  He’s out here for the thirty-two boot camp which has been riding up Mammoth with next year’s product.

Nate saying hi!  If you haven’t checked out shredsoles, you should!

We headed over near Canyon Lodge and I got to ride the Boardercross course which I hadn’t checked out yet.  It was the perfect day for ripping it up in the sun.  Today I was trying out the Smokin MIP and will be riding it this week before switching to 2012 Never Summer boards.

We headed over to Wonderland Park which has the mini-halfpipe and a couple jumps and boxes.  It was a blast!  The pipe was fun and easy without being 22 feet high to scare you and the features in the park were so fun to lap.

It was great getting out in the sun but headed back into work to finish up tasks for the day.  The sunny weather is too good to pass up though, definitely makes lunch breaks better!
