This year passed quickly and the last day of the tradeshow, day 4 came quicker than I could remember. I kept the partying to a minimum on the last evening, just enjoyed dinner with a great crew of people and went to bed earlier than the previous nights. The hotel room was a war zone with catalogs piled around, mix of shirts to socks to sunglasses ready to take home and a fair amount of stickers. All that plus my gear plus clothes had to be packed up the morning of day 4, then kept in luggage check until the end of the show.
I headed into the show at 9am for my first appointment and stayed till 1pm when the show closed. It was a busier day than expected with last minute stop-by booth’s and appointments to get wrapped up.
Skullcandy’s Rick Alden has a collection of snowboard history that he showed off at the Skullcandy booth. I’d never seen a barfoot board in person or a lot of those boards so looking at them in the morning was perfect.
Stance Socks…seriously so stoked on this brand coming out!
Flux bindings has some good changes in store
Pow Gloves partnered up with Gore Tex this year and next year they definitely are lookin good. I got a pair of leather gloves to try out at the on-snow.
When I started snowboarding, Betty Rides was my first brand of outerwear and they continue to offer gear for the ladies on the slopes
Got to check out Nativ Snowboards finally!
Bern helmets lookin good in 2012
Smokin Snowboards keeping true to their name
Venture Snowboards out of Silverton, CO keeping the freeride dream alive
Mtn Approach showing their way to get uphill on skis but downhill on your snowboard and it fits in your backpack
Academy Snowboards
The NXTZ covering up ways for the slopes
A quick look at High Society Snowboards
Board Insiders getting in some filming on next year’s Flow boards technology
A look at the Flow NXT-AT’s for next season
Flow Snowboards
I hadn’t stopped into the ski section that often but was able to go by a couple brands that were represented on the ski side like Head Snowboards.
Rossignol Snowboards
The North Face. With DCP, Carter and Xavier on the team you know they mean business when it comes to mountain riding
Trew Clothing
And the show ended! I’ve got a lot of photos and information to go through but you’ll start seeing updates with the latest gear soon. On the way up to Winter Park for some shred time!

Holy crap, did Pow actually update things this year? I like their gloves but I swear they were treading out the same designs and materials for 3-4 years with only minor color changes.
