It’s been quite the week with my personal life but the latest storm delivered a good amount of fresh snow that was calling my name and today was the day. I woke up early this morning to bluebird skies and hit up the mountain just in time to meet up with Daniel for our powder fix.
It felt so good to be back in the powder. The first runs I didn’t even take the camera out except for a second to try to grab a shot of what was in front of me for most of the morning.

The conditions were great but the lines weren’t. Since it was sunny out, there was a ton of people on the slopes and when I left, I hadn’t heard if the top opened or not. I definitely wanted more turns but also have been dealing with quite a bit at home that I felt I should head home after half a day. Luckily I was happy to have the morning of freshies and that was all I wanted.
