When it comes to designing and creating snowboard outerwear, Bond does it with a commitment to sustainability. In order to make the most sustainable pieces possible, Bond uses recycled materials that have been used before and can be used in the years to come. Bond re-uses items like buttons, zipper pulls, snaps, all recylced and made from discarded plastic pellets from heavy industry. Bond takes one man’s trash and makes it into snowboard outerwear treasure, outerwear that still looks good for the slopes.
For technical features, Bond features 5k-15k waterproofing/breathability, a powder patrol system that connects your waist gaiter to your pants, waste management pocket for taking care of the snottiest kleenex in a water resistant pocket, coconut groove wicking system that takes discarded shells from the food industry that offers up cooling and odor resistance into a small amount of polyester to create a super functional inner lining, magic square that has a goggle wipe on the inner thumbderwear sleeve, lift caddy for storing your gloves in a handy glove holder on the pants and jackets, no damn snow dam that is a barrier to entry along the neck of the jacket, no scuff cuff to snap up the cuff of the pants so you don’t drag them in the parking lot.
