Facemask Friday: Cold Avenger

When it comes to keeping your face warm on the mountain, facemasks do the job.  On the deep powder days, they keep you from breathing in the snow.  On the sunny days, they keep you from getting burnt.  On windy days, they keep your face from going numb.  Gone are the days that you have to wear a basic boring mask and look like a bank robber, now plenty of companies offer bandanas, tubes, balaclava’s in an assortment of designs and colors.

Today is the seventh Facemask Friday of many!  Facemask Friday is my new contest to give you guys rad facemasks to wear on the mountain!  Check back every Friday I’ll be giving away a facemask in a different brand/design/style.  To enter the contest, read the directions below and leave your comment by midnight tonight.  I’ll announce the winner in this post tomorrow morning.

You could win the Cold Avenger facemask today!  The Talus ColdAvenger® high performance mask is an example of innovation for function and fashion. More than just a ski mask, the ColdAvenger® has multiple athletic and industrial uses as a cold weather face protection mask that allows you to breathe freely while keeping your face warm and dry.

2.  You have till midnight tonight, April 29th to enter for this facemask.

3.  All the correct answer comments will be written down and one winner will be randomly drawn from a bowl or kitchen pot ( you know like the lottery).

Well, their website says “snowmobile, heli-ski, hunt, cycle, motorcycle, or work”, but if you ask me, the 1st thing that popped in my head was looking like one of the aliens off of Star Wars (www.starstore.com/acatalog/Tesb-Zuckuss-Mini-Bust.jpg), robbing banks, or being a chemical warfare ninja. What would be really funny is getting the original Airblaster ninja suit in all black & having a black balaclava to wear with this with your goggles on & just go Kung-Fu Fighting down the hill while ripping it up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or3mLOxN-XY

Ski, snowboard, snowmobile, heli-ski, hunt, cycle, motorcycle, work in comfort outdoors or just to look ugly on the Hill.

Shay, don’t add me to to the drawing, please.

Hey Shay, how’s it goin’? James here, just wanted to say thanks. Got the mask today & even though I know some people probably wouldn’t want one like this ’cause it’s plain black & looks a little funny, doesn’t really matter to me, it’s fully functional & will definitely work, thanks a lot, in advance, for when the wind really picks up & this thing keeps my face nice & warm not to mention sunburn free in the future, later, peace!
