Mammoth 4/29/11

29 Apr, 2011

Chances are if you were riding chair 6 this afternoon, you had me as a liftie.  After seasonal staff is laid off, the year round staff comes out to help on the front lines so that’s what I did the last two days was help out as a liftie at the park chair at Mammoth.  It was fun because I got to see people I knew lapping park and I got a couple laps in myself for the day.

During my ride break I did Forest Trail laps with the skier and aussies.  It was fun to get in some shred time before going back to work for the day.

Compared to earlier this year, I’m feeling a lot more comfortable in Forest Trail but still have a ways to go for jumping and tricks.

After being a liftie for the afternoon, it was back to the office to finish up my usual job for the day.
