Facemask Friday: Airhole

When it comes to keeping your face warm on the mountain, facemasks do the job.  On the deep powder days, they keep you from breathing in the snow.  On the sunny days, they keep you from getting burnt.  On windy days, they keep your face from going numb.  Gone are the days that you have to wear a basic black mask and look like a bank robber, now plenty of companies offer bandanas, tubes, balaclava’s in an assortment of designs and colors.

Check back every Friday I’ll be giving away a facemask in a different brand/design/style.  To enter the contest, read the directions below and leave your comment by midnight tonight.  I’ll announce the winner in this post tomorrow morning.

This Airhole Facemask (seen on right) features Airhole’s signature design that eliminates condensation on the inside of your facemask and fogging of your goggles. The one large airhole at your mouth opening makes inhaling and exhaling easy as if you weren’t wearing a mask at all.  The airhole also acts as a hydration point, allowing you to drink through camel packs or water bottles.

Steps to win the Airhole Facemask:

1.  Answer this question in your comment (make sure to use your correct email address):   How many days would you like to get on snow next season?

2.  You have till midnight tonight, June 17th to enter for this facemask.

3.  All the correct answer comments will be written down and one winner will be randomly drawn from a bowl or kitchen pot ( you know like the lottery).

4.  A winner will be announced in this blog post after midnight.  I like to sleep so I will probably will pick a winner tomorrow morning.

Thanks to Airhole for being part of Facemask Friday!

Well I live in England so, other than riding indoor slopes, I can only really hope for 7-10 days in Europe (probably France) in January. Although definitely not anytime soon, I would love to spend 30+ days in an American or Canadian resort one season.

As many as possible, duh! Ideally, if money wasn’t an issue, I’d start the year off in UT & then when that was pretty much over with, go to Hood or where you’re at in Mammoth until the Southern hemi picked up, & then take it from there, ya’ know?! The season never ends really, Argentina, Chile, wherever…, :o)

over 50. I need to keep up with my kids plus they raised prices on the season passes so every day you ride makes them cheaper.

It will be wonderful if I can do 20+ days on the snow coming season, afte rall I am from Hong Kong….. a place without snow at all….. Hope my boss doesn’t mind me taking too much leave between Dec-Apr.

But still, I need the airhole mask to keep my face warm on the mountain. May I have the mask, please? 😛
