Facemask Friday: Bula

22 Jul, 2011

When it comes to keeping your face warm on the mountain, facemasks do the job.  On the deep powder days, they keep you from breathing in the snow.  On the sunny days, they keep you from getting burnt.  On windy days, they keep your face from going numb.  Gone are the days that you have to wear a basic black mask and look like a bank robber, now plenty of companies offer bandanas, tubes, balaclava’s in an assortment of designs and colors.

Check back every Friday I’ll be giving away a facemask in a different brand/design/style.  To enter the contest, read the directions below and leave your comment by midnight tonight.  I’ll announce the winner in this post tomorrow morning.  Just a heads up, this contest is for two winners!

About the Bandana:
The Bula bandanana is lightweight and a polyester fabric that keeps you dry, comfortable and stylish.

Steps to win the Bula Bandana:

1.  Answer this question in your comment (make sure to use your correct email address):  Bula wants to keep yourself warm in a stylish way…describe your style on the mountain (it could be clothing or the tricks you pull…etc).

2.  You have till midnight tonight, July 22nd to enter for this facemask.

3.  All the correct answer comments will be written down and two winners will be randomly drawn from a bowl or kitchen pot ( you know like the lottery).  The first winner I draw will get their choice between the two masks and the second will receive the other option.

4.  A winner will be announced in this blog post after midnight.  I like to sleep so I will probably will pick a winner tomorrow morning.

Thanks to Bula for being part of Facemask Friday!

I have always been tall as crap (6’5″). It pretty much sucks. When I’m not hitting my head on low hanging stuff, or doorways, I am shopping for pants that are long enough. I’m too tall to ride motocross. Too tall to be a horse jockey. Too tall to be a gymnast. Hahaha.

Tell you what though, tall guys on the hill have a very unique and bad ass style. The Teeter boys are a great example. Something about us tall people, we just look a little different in the air. It’s rad.

My style on the mountain is bright and sparkly. Everyone can see me a mile away on the slopes. Good if you’re looking for me and good also if you’re trying to avoid me. I love to just play around on the mountain and have fun!

My style is dressing in a wizard robe and stylish face mask, swooping down the hill on my board and shouting spells out my wand at my friends doing tricks. It works!

My style is daring and adventurous. I’m the guy everyone watches as I crash off the newest and biggest features in the park, laughing the whole way down!
