Facemask Friday: Pom Pom

When it comes to keeping your face warm on the mountain, facemasks do the job.  On the deep powder days, they keep you from breathing in the snow.  On the sunny days, they keep you from getting burnt.  On windy days, they keep your face from going numb.  Gone are the days that you have to wear a basic black mask and look like a bank robber, now plenty of companies offer bandanas, tubes, balaclava’s in an assortment of designs and colors.

Check back every Friday I’ll be giving away a facemask in a different brand/design/style.  To enter the contest, read the directions below and leave your comment by midnight tonight.  I’ll announce the winner in this post tomorrow morning.

About the Facemask:
Features a designer cotton print lined with polartec® fleece. Velcro closure in the back. Great for winter action including for those cold winter runs.

Steps to win the Pom-Pom Facemask:

1.  Answer this question in your comment (make sure to use your correct email address):   If you could have any job in the snowboard industry, what would you want to do?

2.  You have till midnight tonight, August 12 to enter for this facemask.

3.  All the correct answer comments will be written down and a winner will be randomly drawn from a bowl or kitchen pot ( you know like the lottery).

4.  A winner will be announced in this blog post after midnight.  I like to sleep so I will probably will pick a winner tomorrow morning.

Thanks to Pom-Pom for being part of Facemask Friday!

I wanna say product tester, but seems I am not too good at commenting stuff, I’d more prefer designer: boots, bindings, board, graphic design, technology. That’s about it.

If I could have any job in the snowboard industry, I would build an indoor jib park like they have all over Europe, or I would open something like Woodward at Copper. And of course it would be in Washington! 🙂

This is all I’ve gotta’ say, just imagine that facemask was the end of a tie, it would be hilarious, talk about 1970s funkadelic, & as far as the question goes, everybody would love to be pro or at least get paid to travel & ride & not have to worry about paying for it all, ya’ know, duh!

If I could have any job in the snowboard industry, it would have to be something like The Snowboard Realms (Webisode Series with TJ Schneider) where there is less pressure to perform and more emphasis on having fun, while maintaining the support of sponsors and viewers. It is in that environment that I believe myself and others can excel further as snowboarders and also meet new people which can lead to many opportunity’s. Being able to snowboard & travel as a job would be………
