On Thursday, the winds were starting to pick up on the slopes just in time for a lunch ride break with friends. I texted around to see who was coming up and got the girls together for a couple laps. There was a brief detour of snowboarding since Liz and I got stuck on Chair 1 for a good twenty minutes but we got a free drink out of the wait.
Conditions were hard and sheet ice in spots. I was lapping with the Zion Wonk to see how it would do on some bulletproof conditions and it was fine for the day.
Lindsay (SnowKangaroo) moved out from the east coast and is loving life on the Unbound Entourage this year. We met up for a couple laps together.
Definitely in need of more snow on the mountain so hoping for storms to start arriving.
