SIA 2012 On-Snow Demo: Day 1

30 Jan, 2012

After four days of being at the SIA Tradeshow in Denver, getting back into snow boots and hitting the slopes always feels great! We headed up to Winter Park last night for a good nights sleep night during SIA (very rare) and hit the slopes early this morning for the on-snow portion. Tons of companies were out on the slopes with their latest 2013 gear for retailers, media and industry.

Today I rode the Capita Defenders of Awesome FK with Union Contact Pro bindings, Jones Flagship Carbon with Union Charger bindings, Rome Hammerhead with Rome Mob Bosses, Burton root with Burton Genesis bindings, Endeavor Diamond with Flux GM30 bindings, K2 Highlite with K2 Auto Agogo bindings, Flow Rush with Flow Minx SE bindings. I also demoed the Bern Baker helmet with Dragon APXS goggles and Smith IOX goggles.

I did a quick film with Board Insiders about the demo today on what I’ve ridden so far

You can always count on some interesting graphics during SIA. Here’s the latest from Flow Snowboards and Greg the rep checking them out.

Taking a lap with Dan from Lib Tech at the end of the day.

At the end of the day ran into Annette from Lib Tech and Jesse Burtner from Think Thank.
