Lib Tech Snowboards 2012-2013

For Lib Tech, it’s been about experimenting, creating and designing snowboards for a range of snowboarders from the small to the big, from the mountain to the park. The concept of the banana has spread like wildfire and is a common tie among the snowboard styles they produce.

For 2013, Lib Tech Snowboards continues to offer a range of styles for riders.  The new C3 with a trapezoidal camber and rocker between your feet. The BTX has rocker between the feet blended with flat to mild camber to contact points.  EC2 performs halfway between original banana tech and C2 with rocker between the feet blended with elliptical camber to contact points.  C2 with rocker between the feet blended with radial camber to contact points.  Enhanced Banana with the highest rocker between the feet with a secret  numerical formula of camber to the contact points.  C1 with rocker between your feet  and flat to mild camber from the front foot to nose contact blended with camber from the back foot to the rear contact area.  Tip to Tail Rocker is a powder only design with rocker extending past your feet.

Lib Tech Skate Banana

The original all terrain all conditions quiver killing freestyle banana/magne traction series. This “banana tech” snowboard specific pressure map makes turns easy to initiate, is catch-free and forgiving, floats incredible in powder, and is unreal for jibbing and poppy freestyle fun. Features BTX and MTX, twin geometries, H-pop core with banana specific core profile, power transfer internal sidewalls, too many awards to list, sintered base, flex=4-6 depending on size.

Lib Tech Banana Magic

Mervin’s dream construction. The Banana Magic horsepower series is completely volcanic organic and features all basalt construction (no traditional fiberglass) Beans top material, Columbian Gold eco timber core combined with deep sidecuts and enhanced banana. Lib Tech Dark Series

The Dark Series’ Volcanic technormous broknowledgy is ridden, designed and tested by Alister Shultz, Kurt Jenson and James Steinteford and is the board of choice for the Lib Tech experimental division’s Apostologos “Pos” Karabotsos. Lib Tech Attack Banana

All terrain freestyle techno quiver killer. Lib Tech added Elliptical camber , slightly shortened contact lengths and a smoother, more powder friendly tip and tail entry. Matt Cummins’ all mountain fantasy terrain destroyer. Matt Cummins has the longest running pro model in snowboard history. He has been designing boards with us for over 20 years. This year we cut him loose again on his latest dream board and he came up with an aggressive all terrain C1 freestyle board he calls the La Nina. Features aggressive directional C1 Banana (rear camber/nose banana combo) and magne traction, H-pop camel core profile perfect flex under foot, UHMW sidewalls, TNT base, flex=6-7 depending on size.

Lib Tech T.Rice Banana Hammock

The Banana Hammock kills the pow in either direction. Wide planshape at your bindings eliminates binding drag in the steep powder.
