Facemask Friday: Pom Pom

When it comes to keeping your face warm on the mountain, facemasks do the job. On the deep powder days, they keep you from breathing in the snow. On the sunny days, they keep you from getting burnt. On windy days, they keep your face from going numb. Gone are the days that you have to wear a basic black mask and look like a bank robber, now plenty of companies offer bandanas, tubes, balaclava’s in an assortment of designs and colors.

About the Facemask:
The Fleece lined Necktube is designed with the help of riders Raewyn Reid and Robin Van Gyn. Dry-tec® Moisture wicking fabric on the outside and breathable Polartec® fleece on the inside. Perfect for those freezing, cold days and nights.

1. Answer this question in your comment (make sure to use your correct email address): When does your local mountain open?

2. You have till midnight tonight, October 5 to enter for this facemask.

3. This is lottery style, all answers will be put in the bowl and I’ll randomly select one winner to win the facemask.

    We don’t have a local mountain. The mountains here are really only hills, we will have to travel home to Washington to catch some real snow!! :)

    My closest local resort wud b ski sundown and depending completely on the weather(since I live in Connecticut) it will b opening November 17th. The weekend after thanksgiving. Oct 20th.

    SnowBasin UT, usually opens on Thanksgiving with either manmade, or if enough, real snow.

    My ‘local’ mountain is a 5-hour-drive away. And it’s not even a real mountain, more like a hill, but it does the trick. I hope it opens at the beginning of December
