I’ve been babying my ankle all week so I could ride, even with some tenderness and swelling still going on. Luckily a wrapped ankle and some advil helped during snowboarding today. The easy choice was Loveland; no lines and 2 runs are now open offering up more terrain. I picked up Tom and we [...]

October 18th, 2008With two mountains open in Colorado there’s no reason not to ride when the opportunity arises. Here in Colorado it was a beautiful sunny day to make the drive to Loveland to enjoy another day on snow. I came down with Steve to enjoy the snow. Steve just got his new Rome Targa’s so [...]

October 16th, 2008I wasn’t expecting to ride two mountains for opening day and when it came down to it, it was like well why not? I spent the morning at A-basin and the afternoon at Loveland…giving full equal share to both mountains on opening day. I did a brief write-up for Transworld Business with more pictures, some [...]

October 14th, 2008Looks like a close race here in Colorado for the title of who opens first. Loveland announced opening day for Wednesday beating A-Basin by 30 minutes. Update: A-Basin changed to 8:30am as well…looks like a tie. I have a feeling someone might be running chairlifts at 4am just to get the win.

April 26th, 2008Yesterday I had to make my way down to Summit County to purchase my Vail pass for next year (it’s that cheap that I bought one) which meant I stayed the night in Summit County so I could ride today. I made plans to hit up Loveland with Jay. I met Jay originally from Snowboard [...]

November 16th, 2007A couple weeks ago when I heard about the Shop Demo coming up at Loveland…I knew I’d want to be there to try out as many boards and bindings as possible. So I made sure to get my name on the list and got the days off work. It was the best two days of [...]
