After riding for the day, we pre-gamed it up at the GLC which was right next to the Big Air Competition. The athletes had practice time so got to watch their runs before the crowds came out to watch.

Since December, I’ve been sporting one jacket all season and that one jacket is the 686 Snaggletooth jacket.  I’ve received a ton of compliments, comments and funny looks from it. It’s easy to recognize me since I’m usually the only person wearing it, in Steamboat a least.

With Whistler having the on-snow demos, we hit up the mountain today to ride Whistler and partake in some 09-10 demos.  Conditions on the mountain have been very icy in the mornings but getting slushy by the afternoon with the sun out each day.

Since the Grenade Games Superpipe Finals didn’t start till noon, I hit up the mountain to get to the on-snow demos going on at Whistler Mountain for the morning.

Got a good night’s sleep last night and woke up ready for some snowboarding at Blackcomb today.  Late season conditions are good at Whistler/Blackcomb but you also tend to sleep in a little later as the conditions soften up so it’s less ice and more fun.

I was up at 4:30am, at the Denver airport by 5:30am to catch my 7am flight.  I packed everything into my snowboard bag and found the happiest flight attendant to walk up to and when she weighed it, it was between 50lbs and 50.5lbs.  She let me go and I thanked her kindly.
