I don’t keep them that tight for me personally, just enough to secure the toestrap when it auto tightens. Maybe try adjusting them or contact K2 about new ratchets if they are sticking that much.

Great review. I got these for my gf since she needed some new bindings. Do you ratchet down as tight as you can? She’s finding it’s a pain in the butt to unfasten the ratchet when she’s trying to step out. I’m wondering if you experienced any issues with unfastening or she might be just tightening the ratchet too far. Thanks.

Personally I’d take your boots to the shop that has both and check them out in person with your boots in them to see the fit and which might work. Also whether you want the auto system or regular bindings can decide.

Sun, 12 Sep 2010 17:40:37 +0000http://www.shayboarder.com/?p=9608#comment-56520Lucy, thanks glad you like the site! You’d want to go with the mediums since they fit a size 6-10. That’s what I rode when I demo’d.
Kristen, ooh tough choice. I think if you are more responsive, stiffer then the escapades. The agogo’s have good response but are not as aggressive as the escapades. Depends on where you ride, I think for the midwest you’d be fine on either. The agogo’s changed the toe strap for 10-11 but the escapades will probably be the same (didn’t try them to find out for sure).
