By advanced I’m guessing she’s talking about the ride/performance of the board compared to the other.

I found a great deal on the 11/12 TFA that was too good to pass up so I decided to go with that. What is it about the board construction that makes it more advanced? Is it the hybrid camber? Do you think the 155 works for my weight/height? The 2013’s look sweet by the way…can’t decide which art is cooler. Thanks again.

Best,
Chris

It’s a great board for progression but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone over intermediate level already. TFA is a more advanced, all mtn board and definitely capable of the conditions. If you want another GNU choice, Billy Goat or Riders Choice.

I am considering the TFA 155 and 153/156GNU Carbon Credit. I’m 5’9″ / 150 lbs and live on the east coast but also get out west to Whistler and CO, so am looking for something than can handle both well (if possible?). I am probably intermediate to advanced and my riding preferences are similar to Alan’s above (fast groomers, bowls, powder, trees, lift lines, some back country..no park or pipe) and I usually get in 5-10 days/year.

Any thoughts would be great, thanks.

Chris

Eik, I’ll be seeing the 2013 line at SIA so you’ll start seeing all the 2013 posts coming up at the first week of February.

You could definitely step it up to the Fk’n awesome for your all mountain riding and the buttery trips are still possible but it’s stiffer so takes more effort.
