In my opinion, fun on resorts is very personal and can be related about snow condition and weather temperature: I did 5 resorts on February 2008 in Utah (13 days total):
– Park City 3 days: (again it is my best powder trees runs with my first reverse camber test) will never forget. With nice après ski in town. True some flat area but you can find spots steep too.
– The Canyons, right was hot too steeper and tite glades but different après ski compare to PC.
– Snowbird, best steep all around terrain very hot glades in the Black forest section
– Snow Basin nice bowl but I prefer glades but nice fast groom runs without anybody faster runs I did there I think.
– Brighton easy access close to SLC cheap and weather was on my side, so it was fun too and but more family style oriented…

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Each time I do the riding report, it’s my journal of my account of the day’s riding on that specific day. It can be a shitty day, a great day, a fun resort, anything can happen. I could have written about the terrible mood I was in and the lack of snow that has hit every resort in Utah/California/Colorado but I chose to write about what is open, available and how it rode. It was a blast and I had fun. If you want negativity all the time, there are other blogs that make a living off it. As for Canyons, I headed there as well on the trip and wrote about it. I’d love to make my way back to Canyons to ride when the “endless terrain, rollers, cliffs, sidecountry and pow” are going off but right now it’s limited runs on what’s available.

Your opinion gets posted anytime it adds input. Next time maybe show me around Utah 🙂

i would have backed you all the way if you started with, ‘the canyons, also in p.c., is sick; endless terrain, rollers, cliffs, sidecountry and pow… the bottom of the aprés area sucks….’, but you stayed the same with your boring reviews of ”happy land where everything is ‘oh-so-awesome’!

just because you get free lift tickets/products does not mean you have to sugar everything when it’s not.

guessing this will not even get posted-

So agree on Park City! One of my best Powder trees runs (Aspens trees) as of today in my life yet was in Park City in the eara of Thaynes/Motherlode Mountainzone and Jupiter Mountainzone (Feb 2008) with a Skate Banana 156 (Yellow one). At that time, I demo for the first time a reverse camber with perfect condition powder trees (Space between trees) was doing freestyle glades 360 everywhere … was a good memories… Plus the access with plenty of parking for cars right at the bottom of lift feel that even if I was a Canadian tourist, I felt like a local who is welcome… so true… I want to go back for sure in the Future… Also I did like Snowbird too!

Good to see you in the Great state of Utah. Next time you roll through let us know and we’ll hook you up at the “locals” resort (Brighton) for some shredding.
The snow is on it’s way. Pray for snow!!!
